Crossroads Co.Lab was founded in 2003 by Jordan Zukerberg, who embraced the idea that the internet could be more than just a directory for brick and mortar businesses, believing that the core business functions could be integrated and fulfilled online.  From that belief, Crossroads Co.Lab was born.  Zukerberg’s idea was to create a “one stop shop” for all things ecommerce – from marketing and site development, to back end integration and content production – Zukerberg’s view is total integration of everything that touches the online customer journey using three (3) key elements:

People – Processes – Technology 

With this philosophy in mind, over the next twenty years Crossroads Co.Lab would grow from a two-man venture to a full-service ecommerce consulting firm which can handle all aspects of a client’s web based business, including run-of-web marketing across all platforms and devices, front and back end development, overall business strategy development and implementation, efficiency analysis, compliance analysis, contract negotiation and much more.  Our team consists of business professionals from a range of disciplines such as marketing, information systems, business management, legal, graphic design, programming, communications and writing.  In addition, Crossroads Co.Lab promotes cultural diversity and believes that diverse experiences and viewpoints contribute to the overall success of the team.

Jordan Zukerberg

Chief Executive Officer

An Information Systems Management degree holder from UMBC in 2001, Mr. Zukerberg has been working in the digital marketing space since it’s infancy.  After a number of years working for clients with $25M+ annual marketing budgets who were unable to see the ecommerce possibilities on the horizon, Mr. Zukerberg started his own digital marketing agency in 2003 with just one client.  Over the past twenty (20) years, he has helped dozens of clients generate multiple tens of millions of dollars in online revenue.  Mr. Zukerberg understands that a successful online business requires synergy between development and marketing, as well as requiring an experienced team of professionals to build ERP integrated websites and manage a run-of-web marketing strategy that encompasses numerous social media and search platforms.  Crossroads is founded on the idea that all of these technologies and platforms should work together as one integrated unit to achieve the greatest benefit for the client.

Richard Patton, J.D.

Chief Operations Officer

Richard Patton holds both a Business and a Law Degree from the University of Baltimore.  In his previous career as a criminal defense lawyer, Patton was able to hone his analytical and problem solving skills both in the courtroom and in the business of law.  An experienced manager of various types of professional services organizations, Patton directs the overall operations of Crossroads Co.Lab as well as handles contract negotiation and compliance issues for the company.

Rob Jacobson

Chief Technology Officer

Robert Jacobson is a Computer Science degree holder from the University of Maryland at College Park.  Jacobson has decades of experience managing both hardware and software integrations for complex computer networks in the ecommerce, professional services and utilities industries.  While Jacobson is primarily responsible for managing the software development team at Crossroads Co.Lab, he also provides consulting services on technology solutions to business problems that affect our clients’ bottom line.

Director of Marketing and Creative

Patrick Sedlander is a Graphic Design degree holder from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. In addition to graphic design duties Sedlander directs the marketing team at Crossroads Co.Lab using the skills and experience acquired at the large advertising agencies at which he previously worked. When not at work, Patrick enjoys hiking, gardening and other outdoor activities, as well as raising his newborn son.
